ABOUT ME

My name is Nikki Robinson, and I am a graphic designer, illustrator, and animator who graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. I specialize in creative ideation. If you need an iconic, unique concept, I’m your girl! My work showcases eye-catching design, strong contrast, and memorable visuals.

The branding you see follows the concepts that define me: sharp, overlapping shapes represent my ability to work “in the in-between.” What does this mean? There are places like gas stations, stairwells, and hallways in the backrooms of studios that we, as humans, find fun to explore. We never stay in these places for long because, as exciting as they are, they are also unfamiliar. I pride myself on my ability to work in these spaces–my design work is unfamiliar and exciting, and those two shapes overlapping represent these unique spaces.

The brilliant colors represent my energy. I have a lightning bolt tattoo that represents the energy I put into my work. When lightning strikes, it’s a brilliant flash of light followed by darkness. The colors in my branding and the vibrant tones reflect that same feeling. I put energy into everything I create.

I thrive in collaborative environments and take pride in delivering thoughtful work, whether the task is large or small. I learn new programs quickly, experiment with unfamiliar styles, and adapt to whatever a project requires. If a role exists, I will find a way to fit it.
